Hearing aid coverage in Nunavut

In Nunavut, seniors 60 and older who are Métis or Non-Indigenous can apply to have their hearing aid costs covered, within reason, under the Extended Health Benefits Seniors Program.

You must be a permanent resident and have a valid health card.

• Nunavut Department of Health and Social Services: also helps Nunavut residents pay for audiological services and hearing products.
• Workers' Safety and Compensation Commission (WSCC): assists Nunavut workers with occupational health and safety information for hearing health at work, including wage-loss benefits, medical coverage and support for work-related injury or illness.
