A message from Hear for Life - St. Catharines about COVID-19:
Miranda Whiffen joined the Hear for Life healthcare family in 2007. She remains dedicated to exceptional service, professional advice and commitment to care with each client she meets. Miranda’s favourite part of her job is working with clients to help them become successful with their hearing aids. It feels very rewarding when client’s share their success stories with her and their newfound confidence.
Miranda’s first experiences in the hearing healthcare industry were as a young adult when she would accompany her aunt to her work at a hearing aid manufacturer. It was during this time that she had the opportunity to learn about hearing loss and amplification and soon became fascinated with the idea of combining medical technology and human physiology to improve the quality of people’s lives.
Miranda earned her Ontario College Advanced Diploma from the Hearing Instrument Specialist program at George Brown College in 2007 and is certified in cerumen management. She is a member of the Association of Hearing Instrument Specialists of Ontario. Miranda has been awarded the Hear for Life Clinic of the Year recognition in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Miranda moved to St. Catharines primarily to begin her career and quickly learned what a friendly city it was and still is today. During her spare time, Miranda enjoys shopping for fresh local produce, visiting historic landmarks such as Decew Falls and rollerblading along the canal.
Jerry Bennett joined the Hear for Life healthcare team in 2004 and remains committed to providing care, exceptional service and professional advice to each patient he meets each day. Jerry has been interested in the hearing healthcare industry ever since he was a teenager, when he would frequently visit his older sister’s speech-language pathologist practice. It was then he realized his passion for the field of clinical science.

He is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the American Academy of Audiology, the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists, the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario and is certified in Lyric Fitting.

He is responsible for regular training sessions to ensure all team members continuously develop their skills, maintain their product knowledge, and elevate their personal and professional development. Jerry has been awarded the Hear for Life Clinic of the Year recognition in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
