Peggy’s audiologist journey began when her mother was diagnosed with hearing loss. She was deeply affected by her mother’s embarrassment with the diagnosis and the impact it made in her life.
Fortunately, she was on the path to studying hearing sciences and her mother actually became her first patient in grad school. Her mother unknowingly moulded her into an audiologist by teaching her compassion, patience and the importance of sharing life through sound.
