Registered Audiologist

Sheri MacGregor opened the doors of Highland Hearing Clinic in 1997 and deeply enjoys coming to work every day.

Her passion to provide the ultimate hearing care experience to clients in conjunction with working alongside a healthcare team who understands this, is what motivates her to work hard and thrive in her daily clinical practice.

Sheri enjoys getting to know her patients on a one-on-one basis in order to determine the best hearing solution for them. She takes the time to guide patients through their journey to better hearing while making sure they are comfortable and happy with their treatment plan.

Sheri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health education from Dalhousie University and obtained her Master of Clinical Science in audiology from Western University. Sheri is licensed through NSCASLP and is an active member of Sounds+. In addition to her clinical practice, Sheri is the co-chair of 100 Women Who Care Antigonish.

Registered Audiologist

Kegan Stephen is proud to be in his hometown helping people in his community hear better, at our Highland Hearing Clinic in Port Hawkesbury. Most importantly, it provides Kegan the opportunity and passion to help and teach others regarding good hearing health. 

Kegan obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and further completed a Master of Science degree in audiology at Dalhousie University in 2018. Kegan's published work in the field of audiology, Falling on the Right Path: Exploring an Inter-professional Approach to Fall Prevention with Occupational Therapists and Audiologist can be seen in Canadian Audiologist, The Canadian Academy of Audiology. Kegan was awarded a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Award for his research on ribbon repair after noise-induced synaptic damage in the cochlea.

Outside of clinic practice, you can find Kegan with his nose in a book as he is an avid reader or talking a stroll in nature.
