Hearing Aid Practitioner
Heather’s favourite part of her job is undoubtedly the people she meets. She truly enjoys getting to know her patients, hearing their stories, understanding their struggles, and helping them get through challenging times. She particularly loves when patients come back to see her and can’t stop talking about how much their hearing devices have changed their lives!
Heather believes the most important part of her role is to create an environment where people feel welcome and comfortable. Part of this is includes providing full explanations and information that patients are typically looking for.
Her most memorable experience was when a patient of hers who experienced tinnitus was fit with a Lyric device. Heather will never forget seeing the patient brought to tears because of the relief from tinnitus they experienced. It is these positive experiences that push her to deliver to each person who comes into the clinic.
A fun fact about Heather is her passion for the rivers, oceans and lakes of the world. Paddling is her favourite hobby and she adventurously paddles out on the water every opportunity she gets.

David Lee is the founder of Bow River Hearing. His initial interests in the hearing industry started after working summer jobs at his mother’s hearing clinic. There he had the opportunity to see the immense impact hearing has on people’s lives. This experience had a lasting impression and inspired him to follow in his mother’s footsteps to become a Hearing Care Professional. In 2010, David took on the role and management of Bow River Hearing and continued their hearing care motto to provide “The Best in Hearing Care” to each and every patient.
David wakes up each morning looking forward to going to work and going home each night knowing that he has helped someone with their hearing difficulties. Seeing the smiles on his patients’ faces is the most rewarding experience he could ask for. His passion for improving hearing health fuels his commitment to do the most he can for each patient.
Outside of practice, David enjoys spending time with his loving wife, eating, playing golf, and travelling to new and interesting places.
