Registered Audiologist - Doctor of Audiology and Hearing Instrument Practitioner

Dr. Shelley Corbett was born and raised in Kelowna of beautiful British Columbia and worked as an Audiologist in Penticton, BC before moving to Quesnel and establishing Quesnel Hearing Centre and Williams Lake Hearing Clinic.

Shelley graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders with the distinction Summa Cum Laude and with honours from Andrews University in 1992. She completed her Master of Arts degree in Audiology from Western Washington University in 1994 and completed her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University’s Allied School of Health Sciences in 2017. Shelley is currently a member of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC with the double credential of Registered Audiologist and Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner. She is also a member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada.

In her spare time, Shelley enjoys gardening, hiking, canoeing, camping, music, spending time with her family, and serving in her community.

Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner

Doug Larsen joined Quesnel Hearing Centre in 2015 and brings a diverse professional and educational background to our team. Doug leads our initiatives to strengthen our philosophy and practice to ensure our clients receive the highest standard of hearing care and customer service.

Doug earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduate studies in International Relations from Simon Fraser University, a Master of Educational Technology degree from the University of British Columbia, a Certificate in Hearing Health Science from the International Hearing Society, and credentials from the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC as a Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner.

Outside of his practice, you may see Doug snowshoeing in Wells, hiking on local trails, or biking.

Our desire is to support you in re-establishing and enhancing your quality of life through listening to your concerns, identifying your hearing needs, and assisting you to meet those needs in a respectful and caring manner.

We are closed for lunch between 12:00pm-1:00pm.
