Carmelle Sevigny-Black established Discover Hearing in 2001 and has over 25 years of experience. She is honoured and proud to serve the residents of St. Albert, along with her two daughters Danielle and Nicole, and staff.

Carmelle's priority is to make clients feel welcomed, relaxed and at "home". She is diligent in educating clients with compassion, patience and understanding. She understands first-hand how important it is to maintain communication with family and friends and to stay socially active. Carmelle strives to provide the necessary tools so clients can stay connected in every aspect of their lives.

Daniela earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in 2013 and obtained her diploma with honours from the Hearing Aid Practitioners program in 2015, both from MacEwan University. Daniela is board certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and is proud to be a part of the amazing Discover Hearing team.

Daniela has been interested in the hearing health care field for over 15 years and her desire to become a Hearing Aid Practitioner stemmed from her own personal experience of having hearing loss for almost 23 years. Having received such great care over the years, Daniela was inspired and wanted to give back to the community in the same way. Given her personal experience with hearing loss, she can easily empathize and understand the needs of her clients and knows first-hand the challenges it can bring. Daniela strives in bringing awareness to the importance of addressing hearing loss early on.

As an advanced hearing aid wearer herself for more than 22 years, Daniela has witnessed and experienced the advancements in modern hearing aid technology. She looks forward to sharing her experiences with her clients and sharing the benefits and advantages hearing aids can offer.

Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner, Board Certified Hearing Instrument Sciences

Lauren began her career in the hearing industry in 2015 as a Client Service Administrator, yet quickly became interested in the role of Hearing Aid Practitioner after realizing how much hearing impacts people's daily lives. She knew she wanted to be a part of their journey in re-discovering all the sounds the world has to offer.

Lauren graduated from the Hearing Aid Practitioner program, with honours at MacEawan University in 2018 and is board certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. Lauren joined the Discover Hearing team in 2019 and is ecstatic to be a part of such an amazing and talented group of professionals.

Lauren strives to keep up-to-date with the ever-advancing technology to ensure her clients have access to the best hearing devices possible and can make the best informed decision about their hearing health.
