Alyssa Ferguson

Audiologist

Alyssa Ferguson joined the HearingLife team in Sydney in 2015. Born with hearing loss herself, Alyssa has worn hearing aids since the age of 3 and enjoys sharing her own personal and professional experiences while helping others with their hearing needs.

Alyssa graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Cape Breton University in 2011 and later earned a Master of Science degree in audiology from Western University in 2013.

Glenn Basso

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Glen Basso joined the HearingLife healthcare team in 2013. He is a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist with over 22 years experience in the hearing healthcare industry. He holds an MBA, CPA(CGA) designation and is currently enrolled in a doctoral program studying healthcare marketing.

Glen is a member of the Canadian Hearing Instrument Practitioners Society, Nova Scotia Hearing Aid Society, Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Atlantic Canada, CGA Nova Scotia, and Triathlon Nova Scotia.

Client Service Administrator

Katie MacDougall welcomes clients into our clinic with a smile. She is professional and friendly and ensures clients feel comfortable at each any every appointment. Katie provides clients with the most up-to-date information on our hearing care services so they can receive the help they need.
