A message from HearingLife - Edmonton South about COVID-19:
Jackie Brosius has been wearing hearing aids since she was 5 years old. Hearing loss runs in her family with her dad, sister, nephew and one of Jackie’s twin sons who all wear hearing aids. Both of her sons also attend Edmonton’s School for the Deaf. Jackie understands firsthand about the effects of having a hearing loss on one’s speech and language development and the challenges that may arise with a hearing loss. She is passionate about helping people hear better and learn about their hearing loss. She hopes to make the transition to better hearing an enjoyable experience for all her clients. Jackie has over 10 years work experience as a practicing clinician helping people communicate better.
Jackie graduated with distinction from the Hearing Instrument Practitioner program at Grant McEwan University in 2004. She have been a registered member of the College of Hearing Aid Practitioners of Alberta (CHAPA) since October 2004, and was certified by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS) in December 2004.
